Yay! On Saturday night, I got a big happy surprise. Brad took me on a downtown adventure and up to the top of a tall building (which was perfect because just the day before I watched Charade with Audrey Hepburn in lots of big buildings)!
Some rainbow daisies, a bottle of champagne, some mushy personal business, and a very sparkly special ring-a-ding on my finger later, we are engaged! Whooo yay! We had a great night with dinner and drinks at a new restaurant and some champagne later with friends.
On Sunday, I made postcards to send to all the family and close friends sharing the big news. If you are family or a close friend, check the mailbox! Here's what they look like, except way pinker!! (this is a picture snapped of it on my desk) :
