Here are the vegan SmartDogs, topped with vegan black bean chili, mustard, and sauerkraut (mmmm)! My hot dogs are on top of sprouted grain Ezekiel bread.

Our slaw was a pre-packaged organic mix of broccoli and carrots, tossed with Ani Phyo's simple Greek dressing. Recipe below!

Ani Phyo's Simple Greek Dressing
2 T apple cider vinegar
1/4 extra virgin olive oil
1/2 t sea salt
1 t thyme
I put all this in a jar, closed it, and shook! Then I mixed it with the slaw and voila! It's very tart, so I added a few squirts of agave nectar, but that's a personal preference. It's delicious either way!

Oooh! I would like some of your dinner please! I love the veggie dogs, great idea for toppings.
i make a similar dog sammich called the diablo dog. everything on it is HOT: chili, horseradish, hot mustid, vegan nacho cheez sauce, and fakin bacon bitz. the bun has to be grilled. i got the idea from a strangers with candy episode where amy sedaris's character says, "i'll have a diablo dog and don't be stingy with the bacon bits!"
i haven't had brocoslaw in a while.
Where'd you get the dogs? My husband ate a hot dog last night. The real kind. Blech! I wonder if I could get him to eat faux dog.
That is a simple Greek dressing! And I love me some veggie dogs! Especially loaded with chili and sauerkraut (which I've never had mixed together but love individually on my dogs...and would probably love together too).
These were SmartDogs I think, from either Fiesta or Brookshires. I know a few of the veggie dog brands aren't vegan, but these are. Tasty too!
