I have a new goal! Well, really it's an old goal. I want to be a good hula hooper! I went to a music festival a few years ago and saw the most amazing hula hooping ladies rocking out while the bands played. I am unabashedly enamored of many things festival related, including cold & delicious beer, veg food booths, swirly cotton skirts, and magnificent stage shows. Bring on the hoops!
I am going to get a new hula hoop this weekend, as the one I have been playing with is cracked and full of rain water. I'm thinking purple! I had a pink and white one when I was little that smelled like peppermints when you swirled it around. I'm not sure those are around anymore...

I do hooping! I am not nearly as good as those ladies, but I am trying to get there! It's so much fun.
I hot a "pro-hoop" from hooprama out of nashville. I have yet to get out with it and do some hooping, but maybe soon. I do it on my wii & have so much fun! Look up hooprama on myspace (maybe in my top friends?)and you can check out their custom hoops via their website. You can really get in shape doing it. I'll be in Monroe for the art fest and am bringing you a wedding present! We will have to catch up.
