Here's my creepy little montage.
I used a mix of sprouted grain fettuccine and whole grain spinach pasta. I used vegan sausage crumbles rather than the links the recipe calls for, cuz that's what I had on hand.
In honor of the cookbook's kitschy theme, we ate on vintage teevee trays!
Deeeelicious!!

Seriously- I made this at the end of last week and set the post for today...and I am already considering making this dish again. It was rich without being heavy and I think would impress vegans and omnis alike.
This is my favorite recipe in La Dole Vegan! I make it every fall as soon as pumpkin season hits as a special get-ready-for-the-season meal. I've even used smushed-up veggie burger patties in place of the sausage when that was all I had and it's tasty no matter how ya cook it.
