Green Smoothies & Wishes

Sooo...talking about weight loss has gotten a bit boring, but...just as an update: I'm still following Eat To Live. I am moving more slowly in terms of weight loss now, as I'm not interested in dissapearing! Just a few more steps until I reach a healthy weight, so I am doing more of maintenance eating and exercise (yay for moderation). I eat treats sometimes, but have really found that my tastes have changed. Also, not to sound like a health nutty-nut-nut, but I love the way I feel now! When I "cheat" and eat something that doesn't fall under nutritarian, I just feel tired and sluggish and gross. For real!

On that note, I loving my green smoothies. They make my life better! Here's a few from lately. My general mix is chia seeds, greens powder, water, strawberries/peaches/mango/berries/etc., a banana, and a handful of spinach leaves.

Smoothie with pretty flowers from my coworker, "To-Go" smoothie with a napkin/cozy and a straw :)

In other news...the other night we went to a local fountain to make a few wishes. Here we are, throwing pennies and laughing!

Bye for now!

Congrats on successfully following eat to live!
I should bring a green smoothie to work to gross out my coworkers. People over here are not used to the concept of green smoothies. I love them though!

I love reading about how people are doing with the Eat to Live program, that's great! What a great idea to put your smoothie in a jar.

I brought a green smoothie in a jar to work with me today! Mine's frozen banana, almond milk, spinach, and hemp protein powder. Yum! I'm so ready for berry season so I can throw fresh berries in.

I have that book. I haven't had a moment to get past the first few pages in chapter 2. It was totally inspirational and I was all ready to get into it, then we moved. So are you doing what the book says to a T or are you sort of loosely following it? How long? Is it about having more alkaline vs. acidic food? Write back on FB or email me. So awesome to know someone else is doing this!
