The above picture hurts my heart to no end...but I'm trying anyway! I have been coffee-free for three days (and if you know me, you know what kind of hooha I have been acting like in the process.)

*...better skin?
Yup, that's why I'm trying this. After consulting with my gorgeous little brother, and reviewing the family traits, it seems that everyone I'm related to has problems with coffee: skin, migraines, etc. Why would I be different? I dunno. I can't make my mind up about the skin/food relationship. I know that I eat a very clean diet, with the usual offenders being for treats only (greasy food, candy, soda). I exercise, I use quality skin care, I take my vitamins, I get enough sleep....I get zits! Ack!
We shall see. I can't decide yet if it is helping. I hope it does, but if it doesn't, I am going to buy like 50 cappucinos, pour them in a baby pool, and just float around in coffee heaven. Watch me.

Oh no! I feel for you girl! No coffee is no good. But maybe this will work. Honestly though, I think I'd deal with zits if they meant giving up coffee for good. After my little ACT experiment in January, I vowed to never, ever give up coffee again.
Double ugh. We were just talking about that last night. Giving up coffee is no good. I did with both pregnancies (for obvious reasons). I will drink my one cup a day. That is my only vice. Good luck.
I feel your pain, except that I am trying to go off, HA HA, cut back on sugar and breads. I am dealing with sinus problems, I did good one day then messed up. Great another 3 1/2 days, then my BFF made my favorite cookies. I ate 2!
Who knows if it will help, I am also drinking kefir milk, added coconut oil to my diet. Chia seeds also. I have lost 4lbs, yeah!
So my friend, when you fill that pool I'll come on over.

I'm excited to hear how it goes. I drink a lot of coffee and have skin problems too. But mine are the opposite; dry patches and eczema. blech. I have a feeling cutting out coffee would help, but I'm not emotionally ready for that journey yet.
