In a random event of wonderfulness, there was a vegan bake sale going on that weekend. Yay!!
I had a cupcake right then, and some peanut butter chocolate cookies for the road (healthy eating, what...?)
The highlight of the weekend (besides getting 2 free days to wander around laughing and playing with my honey, of course!!) was Ms. DiFranco!!!!!!! Let me just say that my massive universal love crush on her and her whole entire operation is strong as ever! The show was terrific, the music was terrific, she was terrific!

I saw Ani DeFranco a couple of years ago in a tiny venue where we could walk up to the stage and talk with her. It was AMAZING! She was pregnant at the time and was just glowing and beautiful!
