Tofu Noodles & Prana Sauce

Have you ladies and gents ever eaten Shirataki noodles?

Lemme just tell you, my first experience was a wacky one. I opened the pouch and was hit with a *foul* smell. I was sure my noodles were rotten!

As it turns out, tofu noodles have a naturally gross odor until boiled for a few minutes, which clears the funk right on out.

Me and the noodles are friends now, and  I enjoy them with a variety of raw sauces.

I recently made a batch of Kris Carr's Prana Marinara Sauce from Crazy Sexy Diet, and the combo of the sauce and noodles was awesome!! Do you have any favorite tofu noodle recipes?

I wonder why it's called Prana sauce.

In sanskrit Prana is wisdom.

I like the idea of wisdom sauce. ;)

The book is all about some mind/body health, so she uses a lot of motivational terms :P

These noodles gross me out because they are squishy and look like brains or guts or worms. Looks like I'll have to give them a go.

OMG, those noodles totally smell like ass! But they are tasty when cooked. :-) The sauce looks fantastic. I MUST get Kris' book!!
