A few years ago I found a way to encourage myself and help another creature at the same time: Farm Sanctuary's Adopt A Turkey program! You can choose your turkey(s) and sponsor as many as you want! I like to hang my adoption picture in my kitchen during the holidays...it's a fun way to enjoy your donation as well as educate curious visitors :)
My last adopted turkey was named Olive. This years candidates are all so cute, I can't decide!

I think I'm adopting Elizabeth but Payton's photo makes me laugh. Maybe I should adopt both? :) I put the adopted turkey photos on the Thanksgiving table to celebrate with us.

This is on my list of things to do this weekend. I am so in love with Payton's hilarious pic. My husband loves Raphael because his favorite food is stuffing, and he finds that inexplicably hilarious himself.
