Play that horn. Want to hear a secret? You’re awesome. (It’s actually not even really a secret.) This is going to be hard for you, O Modest One, but you gotta give yourself props today. And now for the eatz! I am really enjoying my Eat Vegan On $4 a Day cookbook, although sometimes it prolly costs more than $4, as my husband is REALLY enjoying these recipes and polishing off several servings at a time- a running, soccer playing, drumming dude has to get his fuel! The recipes would be way less $$ per day for me, as I accompany everything with a gargantuan salad (usually made with .99 cartons of clearance produce- score!).
Today's $4 A Day recipe: Bean sandwiches! I turned these into wraps- they are perfect as a tuna or egg salad sub. (The scary flag indicates the presence of chickpeas, which my honey called "dynamites" for their, erm, gas-inducing effects :p)
