Today's Health Blog Post:
"Be present. Describe something peaceful with as much sensory imagery as you can. What are the sights, sounds, scents, and feelings?"
With that in mind, I give you this:
You know when you go into an awesome little shop that seems to fit you to a tee? Or maybe you walk into someone's home and you just can't stop looking at everything...sniffing scents, feeling textures, wanting to explore more?
That is exactly how Living Tree Community Foods make me feel from start to finish. They graciously sent me a nut butter to review, and I must say, I am hooked. The Berkeley-based business seems to truly infuse their products with love, compassion, integrity, and a general sense of respect- respect for health, respect for the environment, respect for the magnificent experience of eating wonderful foods!I received Pistachio Butter to try...I wish I could say I've done anything creative with it, but it's so heavenly on sprouted grain bread, that's as far as I've gotten. It is rich, thick, and full of complex flavors. Love on a bun, I tell ya! I suspect it would be amazing with shortbread or as a pesto-type spread on bruschetta. Raw foods speaking, it would be delicious on dehydrated breads, crackers, or crisp sweet potatoes. Yum!!
Other Living Tree delights I want to get my mitts on:
Thank you Living Tree Community Foods, for inspiring me and for making some new kitchen favorites!
