This recipe is from the adorably portable Vegan A Go-Go, which I picked up at Herbivore in Portland long ago and far away. This little book travels well, calls for easily available ingredients, and is packed with great info and recipes. Love it!
I vary the pot pie filling based on what we have in the fridge. This one involved string beans, potatoes, celery, carrots, and onions. Soo delicious! The creamy filling and use of sage just create pot pie perfection. The crust is made with whole wheat flour.
